GEKA GENEL SEKRETERLİĞİ GÖREVİNE ÜMİT GÜLYAĞI ATANDI.
Güney Ege Kalkınma Ajansı (GEKA) Genel Sekreteri Özgür Akdoğan’ın görevinin sona
ermesinin ardından yerine Ümit Gülyağı Genel Sekreter olarak atandı.
Ümit Gülyağı, Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanı Sn. Mehmet Fatih Kacır’ın tensipleriyle yapılan
atama sonucunda 6 Ağustos 2024 tarihi itibariyle görevine başladı.

Ümit Gülyağı kimdir?
Özgeçmiş:
1983 yılında Elazığ’da doğan Ümit Gülyağı, ilk, orta ve lise eğitimini Elazığ’da
tamamlamıştır. Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (ODTÜ) İnşaat Mühendisliği Bölümü'nden
2007 yılında mezun olmuştur.
Çalışma hayatına özel sektörde başlayan Gülyağı, inşaat ve mühendislik firmalarında 2 yıl
süreyle proje mühendisi olarak görev yaptıktan sonra Doğu Karadeniz Kalkınma Ajansı’nda
(DOKA) bölgesel kalkınma kariyerine başlamıştır. DOKA’da 4 yıl uzman, 2 yıl da
koordinatör olarak çalıştıktan sonra enerji, maden, inşaat, taahhüt, turizm sektörlerinde
faaliyetlerini sürdüren bir holdingde 2 yıl süreyle bütçe ve planlama koordinatörü olarak
kariyer hayatına devam etmiştir. Ümit Gülyağı özel sektör deneyiminin ardından bölgesel
kalkınma kariyerine Fırat Kalkınma Ajansı’nda (FKA) Planlama, Programlama ve
Koordinasyon Biriminde devam etmiştir. Ajansta Turizm, Tanıtım, Markalaşma ve İş
Geliştirme Birim Başkanlığı görevinin yanı sıra Kalkınma Ajansları Genel Müdürlüğü
tarafından yürütülen “Anadoludakiler Projesi” kapsamında Kalkınma Ajansları’nın
koordinasyonu görevini üstlenmiş ve dezevantajlı grupların işgücüne katılımına yönelik bir
Avrupa Birliği (AB) projesinin yürütücü ekibi içerisinde yer almıştır. Son olarak, Birleşmiş
Milletler Kalkınma Programı (UNDP) kapsamında proje yöneticisi olarak görevine devam
ederken Güney Ege Kalkınma Ajansı’na Genel Sekreter olarak atanmıştır.
Ulusal ve uluslararası projelerin yürütülmesi ve koordinasyonunda aktif olarak bulunan
Gülyağı, iş geliştirme, proje yönetimi, stratejik planlama, yatırım ve tanıtım faaliyetleri, ekip
yönetimi, marka yönetimi ve marka geliştirme alanlarında uzmanlığa sahiptir.
GEKA Genel Sekreteri Ümit Gülyağı, evli ve iki çocuk babası olup iyi derecede İngilizce
bilmektedir.
