Kıyı Ege Belediyeler Birliği Ağustos ayı encümen toplantısı Marmaris Belediyesi’nin ev sahipliğinde
düzenlendi.
Kıyı Ege Belediyeler Birliği Encümen Toplantısı, Muğla Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Ahmet Aras
başkanlığında, Marmaris Belediye Başkanı Acar Ünlü’nün ev sahipliğinde gerçekleştirildi. Marmaris
Belediyesi’nde düzenlenen toplantıya Narlıdere Belediye Başkanı Erman Uzun, Dikili Belediye Başkanı
Adil Kırgöz, Karaburun Belediye Başkanı İlkay Girgin Erdoğan, Ayvalık Belediye Başkanı Mesut Ergin ve
Tire Belediye Başkanı Hayati Okuroğlu katıldı. Toplantıda, birlik üyesi belediyeleri ilgilendiren önemli
gündem maddeleri masaya yatırılırken, Birlik Başkanı Ahmet Aras, basın mensuplarının sorularını da
yanıtladı. Başkan Aras, belediyelerin içinde bulunduğu ekonomik zorluklara vurgu yaparak, özellikle
turizm bölgelerindeki belediyelerin gelirlerinin yaz nüfusuna göre belirlenmesi gerektiğinin altını çizdi.
Toplantıda, yangınlarla mücadele, belediyelerin gelir dağılımı, üye belediyelerin lehine yapılacak
çalışma planları ve orman yangınlarına ilişkin fikir alışverişinde bulunuldu.
YANGINLARLA MÜCADELE TOPLANTISI DÜZENLENDİ
Encümen toplantısının ardından Kıyı Ege Belediyeler Birliği ve Milliyet Gazetesi işbirliği ile
“Ciğerlerimiz ve Geleceğimiz Yanmasın” temalı orman yangınları ile mücadele toplantısı düzenlendi.
Armutalan Kültür Merkezi’nde düzenlenen toplantıda orman yangınlarının önlenmesi ve en az zararla
söndürülebilmesi için koordinasyon ve işbirliğinin geliştirilebilmesine ilişkin konular masaya yatırıldı.
